Per The State of Michigan and Executive Order 2020-97
If you or your parent or guardian can answer yes to any of these question you are not eligible to take your Driving Exam at this time.  Please call to be re-scheduled.
  1. In the 14 days prior to your appointment, have you been in contact with anyone with a diagnosis or pending diagnosis of Covid-19.
  2. In the 14 days prior to your appointment, have you traveled internationally.
  3. In the 14 days prior to your appointment, have you had any cold or flu symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
It is imperative that we adhere to safe practices to keep everyone healthy and avoid the spread of Covid-19. Masks must be worn by all occupants of the vehicle.  Quality Driver Testing will not provide a mask for you. You MUST come to your test with your own PPE.  The vehicle occupants are limited to the student, parent and examiner.

Quality Driver Testing was founded by Dave Martino, a former Novi City police officer. Mr. Martino has been conducting road tests for over 20 years. We are also pleased to announce the addition of Don Stimmel to our team. Don has also been conducting road tests for 20 years. Each state approved road test examiner has years of experience and takes a friendly, calm approach with each applicant. Whether you are a confident, experienced driver or a nervous tester, you will be in good hands at Quality Driver Testing.

The test location is the Legacy Church parking lot at the southeast corner of Eleven Mile and Taft Rd.  The address is 45301 W 11 Mile Rd., Novi MI 48375. Please enter the address in GPS exactly as listed. Please note that the test site is not the same as our office. Please arrive 10 minutes early and enter the parking lot off of Eleven Mile where you will see the traffic cones set up.

Michigan standards require that the applicant bring a roadworthy vehicle (one that would not cause the test to be terminated due to faulty equipment).  The vehicle can only be occupied by the examiner, the applicant, and any required passenger (parent/guardian for minor, or if necessary an interpreter).  Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions as the parent/guardian is outside of the vehicle for the parking lot portion of the exam.

Applicants should review the following study guide prior to taking the test. Driving Skills Test Study Guide
