Quality Driver Testing was founded by Dave Martino, a former Novi City police officer. Mr. Martino has been conducting road tests for over 20 years and brings a unique experience from a law enforcement perspective. Each state approved road test examiner has years of experience and takes a friendly, calm approach with each applicant. Whether you are a confident, experienced driver or a nervous tester, you will be in good hands at Quality Driver Testing.
The test location is the Legacy Church parking lot at the southeast corner of Eleven Mile and Taft Rd. The address is 45301 W 11 Mile Rd., Novi MI 48375. Please note that the test site is not the same as our office. Please arrive 10 minutes early and enter the parking lot off of Eleven Mile where you will see the traffic cones set up.
Michigan standards require that the examinee bring a roadworthy vehicle (one that would not cause the test to be terminated due to faulty equipment). The vehicle can only be occupied by the examiner, the examinee, and any required passenger (parent/guardian for minor, or if necessary an interpreter). Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions as the parent/guardian is outside of the vehicle for the parking lot portion of the exam.
Applicants should review the following study guide prior to taking the test. Driving Skills Test Study Guide
